THE SHORT VERSION

Techmilkyway Affiliate Disclaimer: Key Points in 60 Seconds

This Techmilkyway Affiliate Disclaimer explains how our links work. So here are the four facts that matter most.

SECTION 01

Our Affiliate Disclosure

Under the Techmilkyway Affiliate Disclaimer, some links on Techmilkyway are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission from the retailer. You pay the same price either way.

As an Amazon Associate, Techmilkyway earns from qualifying purchases.

We use that income to keep our reviews and guides free to read. So we want you to know exactly how it works. We also use the same rule in our newsletters and social posts.

SECTION 02

How Affiliate Links Work

The process is simple, and you don’t have to do anything special.

This costs you nothing extra, because the price is the same whether you use our link or not.

SECTION 03

Our Affiliate Partners

We may join affiliate programs from retailers, software companies and hosting providers, including Amazon Associates, Best Buy and Newegg. These programs can also cover VPN, antivirus, productivity, cloud storage and hosting services.

We may also use affiliate networks such as ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, Impact and Rakuten Advertising. However, this list can change over time, because programs open and close.

SECTION 04

Our Editorial Independence

Trust is why people read reviews, so we protect it. Affiliate relationships never influence our editorial content, as this Techmilkyway Affiliate Disclaimer promises.

We also recommend products that have no affiliate program, when they are the best choice for you. To learn how we work, read our editorial policy and fact-checking policy.

SECTION 05

Sponsored Content and Review Units

Sometimes a brand pays us to publish content. When that happens, we label it clearly as “Sponsored” or “Paid Partnership”, and we keep it separate from our reviews.

We also test products that we buy ourselves. In addition, if a company sends us a free review unit, we say so in the review. So a free unit never buys a good score.

SECTION 06

Prices, Deals and Availability

The Techmilkyway Affiliate Disclaimer also covers deals and coupons, which may include affiliate links. Prices, stock and deals can change quickly after we publish an article. Therefore, the price you see on the retailer’s site is the one that counts.

Your purchase is with the retailer, not with us. So please contact them for orders, returns and support. Also, check the return policy, warranty and specs before you buy. We aren’t responsible for price changes, stock levels or retailer policies after publication. For more, read our disclaimer.

SECTION 07

Cookies and Tracking

When you click an affiliate link, the retailer or affiliate network may place a cookie on your device. That way, they know that we sent you.

However, cookie lengths vary by program. Some last only 24 hours, while others last longer. To learn how we handle cookies on our own site, read the cookies section of our privacy policy.

SECTION 08

FTC Rules and Legal Compliance

In the United States, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requires sites to disclose paid relationships clearly. This Techmilkyway Affiliate Disclaimer is one way we follow the FTC Endorsement Guides, which are written in 16 CFR Part 255.

You can read the FTC’s plain-language guidance in Endorsements, Influencers, and Reviews. Other countries have similar rules, and we aim to follow those that apply to us.

SECTION 09

Your Choices

You decide how to shop. If you prefer not to use our affiliate links, you can go straight to the retailer’s website and search for the product.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. We appreciate it when you use our links, because that income helps us keep creating free content.

SECTION 10

Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this Techmilkyway Affiliate Disclaimer when our partners, our practices or the law change. For that reason, we show the date of the last update at the top.

If you keep using the site afterward, you accept the updated version.
